There’s something about a (faux) fur coat that brings out my inner matrona. Here’s to stylish older women!!!

PS. I’m doing a survey for one of my classes and I’m hoping you can help me out by answering this survey –> CLICK HERE. One of the respondents will get a chance to win an ARANAZ bag!

One thing I learned about living in London is that if you want to stay warm? Keep your head covered! Since I’ve always had a soft spot for hats and all forms of “head toppers”, I’m taking advantage of that fact. I’ve been stocking up on floppy hats, fedoras, wide brim hats, beanies and turbans!

Wearing F21 skirt, Zara sweater, McQ trench, H&M sweater, Primark turban, ARANAZ bag, shoe from Portobello Market

Look who came over to visit me??? My sister, Amina! I find it a bit funny that barely 2 months in London and I’ve already had two visitors! Hahaha!

We loved the Christmas store displays over at Selfridges!!!

PS. How fasyon are their poses?!? I love it. Hahahaha!

After years of melting in Manila heat, London’s cooler weather has given me a chance to fulfill my cheap dream of being draped in (faux) fur. Say hello to my new best friend — fake luxury at its finest!

Still settling into my new city. It’s been nearly 2 weeks and I miss my closet so badly! I’ve been living on one suitcase full of clothes :(

On the bright side, I’ve been obsessed with NYX lip matte lip cream. Lately, my lips have been painted bright red. Specifically a shade known as Amsterdam. I bought a whole bunch from Pampered Beauty via Multiply Marketplace!

Over the past month, I’ve enjoyed doing all my online shopping through Multiply! Perfect for lazy people like me :D

Hello from London Town! Yup, I’m now based in one of my favorite cities in the world. Don’t worry, I’ll still be updating from here. Gotta take advantage of the picturesque (read:blog-worthy hahaha) streets once again. Wish me luck!

Wearing H&M blazer, Zara sweater, H&M shorts, H&M hat, Sperry topsiders, The Ramp necklace

Loving my metallic Sperry topsiders that were sent over (thanks so much Kat and Marc!) the night before I left.  I’ve been living in them ever since..the soft leather definitely makes it the perfect walking shoe!

Doing the 15/30 challenge was NOT an easy feat. Not only did we jump from one hotel to another, I had to do my own laundry. Trust me, I have learned to fully convert any hotel bathroom into a laundromat. No way was I going to pay €3 for ONE dress to be washed! Hahaha!

As a solution to that, I had to layer. A LOT.

This Topman sweater was a life saver. Here are ways to wear a ratty old sweatshirt without looking you just stepped out of the gym!

Worn over a shirt dress

Transforming a dress into a skirt!

Using it to layer on really cold days!

I still have no idea how I survived living on 30 clothes for a month!

PS. Don’t forget to join our MADONNA x D&G sunglasses giveaway!

The denim shirt — definitely one of my style must haves! I have a couple in my closet but my favorite one is from a random thrift store here in Manila. On my one month trip to Europe last June, I knew this was one essential that I couldn’t part with.

Here are some ways to wear it:

Layered over a button down and paired with shorts! It’s a great alternative to a light cardigan.

Paired with a darker shade of denim!

Or be creative and wear it as a skirt!!!

After 30 days of picking from only 30 articles of clothing while traveling from one city to another, I don’t think I’ll be doing that again!

Style CHALLENGE, it certainly was!

That is la vidaaaa! La vida loca, as ma boy Ricky Martin would say.  x

Another blog post!

Believe me, Im just as surprised as you are.

Thing is, for the longest time I couldn’t be arsed lugging around a huge ass camera  so I was perfectly content just observing and not recording life as it happened. That all changed when mama got me an iPhone. From then on I was unstoppable at capturing the things that fascinate me on a daily basis.

Today was flea market day! The heat was insupportable but I was readily armed with my umbrella, abanico and diet snapple (inside bag). Thanks to the three, im still alive and kickin’.

Didn’t really end up buy anything even if I spent a good 3 hours in the market.

I’m perfectly content just having a visual feast and running my fingers on things that have been around longer than me.

What I did end up buying was back home in Manhattan. First, let me tell you a story about a charming man I met while walking! This is James and he’s lovely. I knew this for a fact after 5 minutes of meeting him because I’ve got a gift for sussing out people.

Apart from being awesome,  he also handmakes bags using scrap leather.

My first ‘James’ original: a giraffe wine bottle drawstring bag. Nothing is cut straight, there are still ball pen marks on the inside (in blue so it screams at you when you open the bag), the eyelets are not in line with each other, the strap is uneven, and the string’s width range from anorexic thin to obese fat.

It’s perfectly imperfect and I love it.xxxxx
