I’m not a Versace girl so I didn’t see the need to wake up early and stand outside in the cold just for it. Instead, I decided to brave the crowds a little after lunch and check out the H&M collaboration. Surprisingly, I arrived at the Regent store and found it free from any queues…I was in and out within 15 minutes!
While they didn’t have the leather necklace with the panther head that I was on the look out for, I managed to snatch up a pair of earrings, a leather choker and a printed skirt.
I couldn’t help but ask for an extra paper bag. It was too cute!
I’m no makeup guru! On most days, I survive on concealer, blush/bronzer and lip gloss. Have a look into my little collection.

Can you guys believe I was once a little ballerina? I took classes until I was 13! Since then I developed an aversion to tights….until my move to London, that is. Hahaha! Lately, stocking/tights have been my quick fix on days when I miss going barelegged. I was browsing through the Multiply marketplace a few nights ago, I came across Leg Love by City Lady on Multiply. Knowing my sister, Amina, will be visiting me soon, I decided to go ahead and place an order on these 2 pairs. I love being able to shop Manila brands even if I’m miles away!!! Inspired by them, I decided to come up with ‘dream’ outfits that I’d wear them with! 
Fine, winter may never reach our shores but that doesn’t mean we can’t stock up on our version of ‘autumn’ footwear!

A fun (kinda shameful) fact from my past — when I was a lot younger (say hello to my 14 year old self!), I adored Abercrombie & Fitch. Trips to the States would have me stalk out the nearest store and hunt for a pair of Boyfriend Fit jeans! I stocked up on denim miniskirts, ribbed tanks, floral sundresses and collared shirts. Well obviously, I outgrew that phase. Then I came across CC-OO in SM Megamall. The store itself, reminded me a lot of my A&F/Hollister days. It was a mix of preppy + California Girl + sporty chic.

I had plans of buying ‘winter’ clothes in Greenbelt 5 but i found myself doing a little shoegazing (not of the music variety of course!) instead. I must be a sales assistant’s worst nightmare…I love visit shoe stores and trying on every pair even if I have no intentions of buying them. Hahaha!

I finally got my hands on a pair of Oxygen’s reversible jeans last week. I rarely buy denim from Asian brands because my hips don’t fare well with Asian sizing. Hahahaha! Surprisingly though, I’ve been getting along with Oxygen bottoms, like the pair with exaggerated pockets I wore back in June. From their latest collection, I picked out the drop crotch dark blue pair that doubles as light grey in reverse. 2 for the price of 1! That definitely sounds like a good deal to me, doesn’t it? Will definitely give this pair another spin soon!
