I’m not a Versace girl so I didn’t see the need to wake up early and stand outside in the cold just for it. Instead, I decided to brave the crowds a little after lunch and check out the H&M collaboration. Surprisingly, I arrived at the Regent store and found it free from any queues…I was in and out within 15 minutes!

While they didn’t have the leather necklace with the panther head that I was on the look out for, I managed to snatch up a pair of earrings, a leather choker and a printed skirt.

I couldn’t help but ask for an extra paper bag. It was too cute!

There’s something about a (faux) fur coat that brings out my inner matrona. Here’s to stylish older women!!!

PS. I’m doing a survey for one of my classes and I’m hoping you can help me out by answering this survey –> CLICK HERE. One of the respondents will get a chance to win an ARANAZ bag!

Out and about in Londontown where my sister and I visited the Borough Market and the Tate Modern museum. Isn’t it obvious we’re both enjoying the fall weather?!?!

One thing I learned about living in London is that if you want to stay warm? Keep your head covered! Since I’ve always had a soft spot for hats and all forms of “head toppers”, I’m taking advantage of that fact. I’ve been stocking up on floppy hats, fedoras, wide brim hats, beanies and turbans!

Look who came over to visit me??? My sister, Amina! I find it a bit funny that barely 2 months in London and I’ve already had two visitors! Hahaha!

Selfridges (4)

We loved the Christmas store displays over at Selfridges!!!

PS. How fasyon are their poses?!? I love it. Hahahaha!

Makeup! (4)I’m no makeup guru! On most days, I survive on concealer, blush/bronzer and lip gloss. Have a look into my little collection.

Makeup! (5)Through Multiply Marketplace, I did a little shopping while I’ve been here in London. Thankfully my sister came to visit and with her she brought me my purchases!

My aunt gave me Jo Malone cologne a few months ago and ever since, I’ve been addicted to it!

My favorite scent: Jo Malone Nectarine Blossom & Honey

London is getting colder and colder each day! Weather which I love but I won’t be surprised to eventually hate :) I’ve been seeking comfort from the cold in my oversized parka which makes me feel like a bag lady! Hahaha!

I apologize for the infrequent updates! I still don’t have internet service in our flat :( Hopefully it should be install by the end of the month.

So it looks like last week’s summer spell has ended in London. Finally…fall has arrived!

My cousin Kayla visited from Sweden. You might remember her from visiting my booth at the Bloggers Bazaar last summer. Anyway, we went around doing tourist-y things, including taking cheesy ‘jumping’ shots in Trafalgar Square.

As an avid fan of ‘street style’ photography, I have saved countless of photos collected from the internet, which I painstakingly organize into different categories (a habit that surprises my usual messy self!). Sometimes, when I need a dose of ‘inspiration’, I like reviewing my Men’s Fashion folder. So I was saddened to hear that one of my favorite street-snapped “stars”, Vogue Hommes International editor Francesco Cominelli, passed away. I will definitely miss his take on men’s fashion, especially with his mix of colors, prints and textures!

A quick post from the weekend! What to do when you’re stuck with a limited number of clothes? Stop thinking and throw on a simple sweater dress for a lazy Sunday.

After years of melting in Manila heat, London’s cooler weather has given me a chance to fulfill my cheap dream of being draped in (faux) fur. Say hello to my new best friend — fake luxury at its finest!

September is practically over but it’s never too late to grab a copy of MEG magazine! As September’s guest editor, Bianca had asked me to style a spread along with three other bloggers. It was so flattering to be included in her list along with Camille, Laureen and Patricia.  I just arrived from vacation 2 days before the shoot, so of course I barely had time to do any pull outs beforehand. The solution? Support one’s own! Thank God for the SoFA Retail Lab and ARANAZ. Hahaha! :)

PS. Bianca! Congratulations on becoming MEG’s new editor at large! Yay!

Finally got to scan a few pages from the feature:

Thanks so much MEG & Bianca for letting do this! :)

Still settling into my new city. It’s been nearly 2 weeks and I miss my closet so badly! I’ve been living on one suitcase full of clothes :(

On the bright side, I’ve been obsessed with NYX lip matte lip cream. Lately, my lips have been painted bright red. Specifically a shade known as Amsterdam. I bought a whole bunch from Pampered Beauty via Multiply Marketplace!

Over the past month, I’ve enjoyed doing all my online shopping through Multiply! Perfect for lazy people like me :D
