Closet Cleaners would like to invite you to participate in our event “Style Swap” happening on November 12, 2011, 1-5pm at Function Room 2, 29th floor, Union Bank Plaza, Meralco Avenue, Ortigas City. (building across Metrowalk)

Style Swap will give you the opportunity to:

1. Get “new” clothes FOR FREE.
2. Sell your untraded goodies to your followers, fans, friends, and friends of friends!
3. Interact with the ladies you inspire through your art.
4. Donate any of your old possessions to charity.

If only I were home I’d be the first one there! Sounds like an exciting event!!!

As an avid fan of ‘street style’ photography, I have saved countless of photos collected from the internet, which I painstakingly organize into different categories (a habit that surprises my usual messy self!). Sometimes, when I need a dose of ‘inspiration’, I like reviewing my Men’s Fashion folder. So I was saddened to hear that one of my favorite street-snapped “stars”, Vogue Hommes International editor Francesco Cominelli, passed away. I will definitely miss his take on men’s fashion, especially with his mix of colors, prints and textures!

September is practically over but it’s never too late to grab a copy of MEG magazine! As September’s guest editor, Bianca had asked me to style a spread along with three other bloggers. It was so flattering to be included in her list along with Camille, Laureen and Patricia.  I just arrived from vacation 2 days before the shoot, so of course I barely had time to do any pull outs beforehand. The solution? Support one’s own! Thank God for the SoFA Retail Lab and ARANAZ. Hahaha! :)

PS. Bianca! Congratulations on becoming MEG’s new editor at large! Yay!

Finally got to scan a few pages from the feature:

Thanks so much MEG & Bianca for letting do this! :)

MANGO FALL/WINTER FASHION SHOW I remember one of the first few times I ever stepped into Mango…(i was obsessed with the candy they used to give for free by the counter!)..it was in Glorietta back in early 2001.  It was days before a trip abroad and my mom, my sister and I were on the hunt for leather jackets.  We found the perfect one and we’ve been hooked ever since.

MANGO (20) MANGO (21) Surprise surprise! Last Wednesday, I actually left my cave and attended the MANGO Fall/Winter 2011 fashion show hosted by Bianca Valerio in Resorts World. Outfits were put together by Manila’s up and coming stylists — Myrrh Lao To, Ana Canlas of Preview, Bianca Santiago-Reinoso of Maven Magazine, Patrick Galang, and Teej Nepomuceno.

Wearing a top from CC-OO, ARANAZ bag, F21 shorts

My “posse” for the evening — dragged these two boys (who I’m sure were really there to ogle at the models rather than the clothes) and kidnapped Mandi (who happens to be our friend’s younger sister) of Chic Material.

Here are some of my favorite looks from the show!

Modern Mystique by Bianca Santiago-Reinoso

Patrick Galangs Alluring Androgyny

Nudes and Neutrals styled by Myrrh Lao To

Teej Nepomuceno did Glamorous Getaway

Ortiental Opulence by Ana Canlas.

Inspired by the show, I decided to check out the MANGO website  Here are some looks that I put together!

My picks: red leather skirt, white suit jacket, loose fit knit sweater, bib style necklace,  row set metal ring, black booties, leather messenger bag, slim leather belt

More picks:  Scarf neck blouse, leather bermuda shorts, fringe jacket, leopard print ankle boots, chunky ring, crocodile texture clutch,

I’m actually loving the irony that this video brings to the brand.
Plus, the fact that Alber Elbaz pops up in the end makes it even more precious.

I was invited a few days ago to a little makeover x photoshoot shot by Louie Aguinaldo that was held by Blackberry Philippines. We were given a chance to test out the Playbook and see all the accessories that can accompany it! The cases are so on-trend with its structured silhouettes and a bright color palette, it makes me want to get a Playbook just for it!

Here are some of my picks:

It’s a fact — in this world, there’s only ONE H.Cho!

The only 24 going on 50 year old that we all adore.

While I could go on and on writing sweet nothings about you but unlike you, sweet I am not. I could never do you justice. Instead, I just want to wish you a Happy Birthday!  This blog will never be complete without you :D We miss you so and envy everyone in New York who get to have you 24/7!!!!

STATUS x BLACKBERRY (2)

So obviously this post is a bit delayed…but better late then never! I did a STATUS  x BLACKBERRY editorial, along with basketball player Charles Tiu, model Pauline Prieto and DJ Brian B Cal Calip, back in June (or was it May?) for the July issue. Since my Blackberry has been glued to my hand since I got it early last year, I couldn’t say no to anything involving my new best friend. Trust me, I’m a slave to that blinking red light.

NYX Cosmetics From Digital Train Case on MULTIPLY.com (4)
I’m a sucker for drug store cosmetics. Every time I go to the States, I’d always make it a point to stop by Walgreens or CVS to stock up on affordable make up which I don’t exactly need! I’d usually come home with one too many nail polish bottles and “the best” mascaras. Cheap thrills I suppose?

Then I discovered NYX cosmetics through our ARANAZ intern, Ingrid, who had on a light colored lip that I became obsessed with. To my delight, I discovered that it was being sold on Digital Traincase, a Multiply shop. Now with the new service Multiply is offering via the Multiply Marketplace, buying things from Multiply has never been easier. Multiply Marketplace consolidates your picks from different online stores into one little shopping cart and allows you to pay it in one go. The best part? You can pay via Paypal! Perfect for people like me who dislikes the hassle of doing bank deposits!

Here are some of my NYX purchases: NYX Cosmetics From Digital Train Case on MULTIPLY.com (1)
