Good Bye

While we, Hanna and Rosanna, had an amazing three year relationship,it’s time to put our love affair with Little Miss Dress Up to rest. Soon to be approaching our quarter life crises, we realized that we’re no longer ‘little’. While we wish we had a more scandalous explanation that involved break ups and catfights (hahahaha!), instead it’s about time we start living independent (cyber) lives.

So dear readers, we want to thank YOU. yes. YOU. for your support! Our blog has brought us so much new opportunities. It’s been a pleasure sharing bits and pieces of our insanity with you guys!

Don’t worry. It’s not over…completely. New year, new country, new blog.

I’m not a Versace girl so I didn’t see the need to wake up early and stand outside in the cold just for it. Instead, I decided to brave the crowds a little after lunch and check out the H&M collaboration. Surprisingly, I arrived at the Regent store and found it free from any queues…I was in and out within 15 minutes!

While they didn’t have the leather necklace with the panther head that I was on the look out for, I managed to snatch up a pair of earrings, a leather choker and a printed skirt.

I couldn’t help but ask for an extra paper bag. It was too cute!

One thing I learned about living in London is that if you want to stay warm? Keep your head covered! Since I’ve always had a soft spot for hats and all forms of “head toppers”, I’m taking advantage of that fact. I’ve been stocking up on floppy hats, fedoras, wide brim hats, beanies and turbans!

Can you guys believe I was once a little ballerina? I took classes until I was 13! Since then I developed an aversion to tights….until my move to London, that is. Hahaha! Lately, stocking/tights have been my quick fix on days when I miss going barelegged. I was browsing through the Multiply marketplace a few nights ago, I came across Leg Love by City Lady on Multiply. Knowing my sister, Amina, will be visiting me soon, I decided to go ahead and place an order on these 2 pairs. I love being able to shop Manila brands even if I’m miles away!!! Inspired by them, I decided to come up with ‘dream’ outfits that I’d wear them with!

London is getting colder and colder each day! Weather which I love but I won’t be surprised to eventually hate I’ve been seeking comfort from the cold in my oversized parka which makes me feel like a bag lady! Hahaha!

So it looks like last week’s summer spell has ended in London. Finally…fall has arrived!
